Scrape...Scrape...Scrape
Dammit, Blogger is annoying, at times. I can't get this picture to upload without rotating. Anyway, it's the new snow bike, with most of the paint scraped off. I need to finish it up, as there is still paint on some hard-to-reach places. And, I need to buff primer residue off of some of the tubes. It's looking pretty good to me, so far, though.
I've ridden the bike back and forth to work, the past two days, and plan on riding it in the morning. It is much nicer than the DiamondBack with all of those extraneous gears.

It looks great Jon, did you see the new bells on Soma's blog? The full of EVIL would have been perfect for the evil 20.
DAAAANG!
That looks pretty bad-*ss !! Just curios what you run for a gear ratio with those studded tires? I'll bet you're hoping for the Mother of all storms this weekend ehh!? Great job Man...
Bone kitty. :P
RLGL: I'm running 36x18, which is apparently the magic ratio for me with these tires. I could never find a comfortable gear on the DB; always just a bit too high or a bit too low. Oddly, I am actually getting to work faster on this bike than on the geared bike.
Katina: I am fully in touch with my inner Japanese goth schoolgirl.
Looks great! What are you using to remove the paint?
I'm physically scraping it off with an old pocket knife. Crude, but effective on the crumbly old oxidized paint.
