The 1970s Are Dying...

David Carradine, Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson...It's been a bad month for 1970s pop icons.

I'm feeling kinda old.

I never quite understood how Ryan O'Neil could get himself into so much trouble w/ the law......Anyways, I remember having "THE" Farah swimsuit poster on my bedroom wall.

Also Jon, despite having grown up listening to Jackson 5 vinyl I had forgotten about the massive scope/body of work that Michael Jackson did in the 80's until last night.
I stayed up nearly all night watching BET's tribute/Videography of pretty much everything he ever did beginning w/ 1979's "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough". And of course I had forgotten about how incredible the dance choreography was in the long versions of Thriller and Smooth Criminal.
I had also forgotten that he worked w/ Eddie Van Halen, Willie Nelson, Paul McCartney, John Landis, Quincy Jones, etc....
It seems like only yesterday I was headed to the mall to try to find a good pair of flight pants and that special jacket in an attempt to woo all of the young girls that were in my classes..... Of course, I rode to that mall on my DiamondBack SilverStreak BMX.....
Those memories are very vivid for me.

If I truly am in a race w/ time, I'm getting my *ss kicked.....

Sorry about the word verification. I know you hate it...I hate it, too. But, the Spambots are suddenly coming out of the woodwork, and this is my first line of defense against them.
