Guard dog on duty.
When you hear the phrase "dog-tired", this is what it means.Just before I took this picture, Ozzie was doing that doggy dreaming thing where they yip, and twitch and "chase rabbits". Only thing was, he was sleeping with his eyes open! Kinda weird.

I love dogs, and Oswald looks like a great one. The "guard dog" shot is cool and the one of him sleeping is too funny.

I'm glad that you found Jack a little buddy. Having a pack is the best thing for them!
He was purported to be a Beagle/Cattledog mix. But I think there is some Terrier of some sort in the mix, myself.
